How participants access NDIS support

Participants whose NDIS plans are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed can use their funding to access RDA Carine’s programs.

All sessions are delivered by nationally accredited RDA Coaches, supported by trained volunteers, and conducted in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and Riding for the Disabled Australia regulations.

How our services are funded under the NDIS

Our session Support Service covers the cost of the specialised support we provide for people with disabilities to participate safely in our programs, not the riding activity itself.

RDA Carine’s programs are recognised as recreational activities, and NDIS funds are typically allocated under the Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities. RDA Carine does not charge NDIS participants for riding activity fees, equipment, venue hire, or membership.

Please discuss with your Plan Manager or Support Coordinator to confirm eligibility for your individual plan.

RDA Carine can provide tailored documentation to assist with NDIS planning and review sessions, including:

Program quotes for budgeting and plan inclusion

Program goals and anticipated outcomes

Coach assessment reports and progress summaries

If your plan review is approaching, please let your Coach or our Office know.

We’ll prepare an Outcome-Focused Coach Assessment Report to help demonstrate your progress and achievements through the RDA Carine program.
